    • WTF: LL Cool J Teams Up With Sears

Posted on May 27th, 2008 by mageditor

You guys remember Sears right? The low-cost department store chain.

What about LL Cool J? The rapper who keeps churning out albums no one buys.

In an effort to raise their relevance, the two are pairing up to deliver a low-cost clothing line for children. Simply titled LL Cool J for Sears, the line is set to debut in 450 Sears stores across North America.

I was raised by a matriarch, I have a wife and three daughters, so I know what women are looking for when they shop for clothes. Clothes have to make a woman feel good, relaxed and sexy. We are going to be constantly looking at fine-tuning the fit and we’ll get it right,” LL told WWD.com

Since when did Sears make a woman feel sexy?

And since Sears and K-Mart merged can we expect to see LL next to the Martha Stewart collection? Wait, didn’t Martha move on up to Macy’s?
