What is this? A marketing stunt?

NBA star Kobe Bryant has already leaped an Ashton Martin, now he’s using his Nike Hyperdunks to leap across a pool of snakes with members of MTV’s Jackass.  The clip is causing a stir on the internet as viewers try to figure if the leap is legit.
