Amy Winehouse slurs her way through performance

Maybe she was tired. Or maybe it was just a bad performance.

Either way, Amy Winehouse’s recent performance at the MOBO Awards in Britain led many to believe that the “Rehab” singer was not her usual self. During the performance of “Tears Dry On Their Own” and “Me & Mr. Jones”, Winehouse slurred her words, sang off key repeatedly, and appeared shaky.

Britney Spears charged with hit and run

The downward spiral continues.

The MoveOn.org Ad War Moves On… to CNN

We admit we never expected this controversy to extend itself in this way.

The liberal advocacy group MoveOn.org that released the now infamous full-page ad see below attacking General David Petreaus on the Iraq War will air its Iowa television ad attacking GOP presidential hopeful Rudy Giuliani on CNN.

This move follows Guiliani’s radio ad blasting the group and calling himself its “worst nightmare.”

Why is MoveOn attacking Rudy Giuliani?” the ad says. “Because he’s their worst nightmare. They know Rudy is a Republican who can beat the Democrats. And they know, no matter what they say - Rudy will never, ever back down.”

Of course MoveOn.org wasted no time in responding to Guiliani and found cut another ad, which began airing in Iowa Monday, slamming Giuliani for leaving the Iraq Study Group after two months.

(Guiliani) has always been a big fan of George Bush’s war in Iraq. Yet when Giuliani had the chance to actually do something about the war, he went AWOL,” said the ad.

The organization also argued that the former mayor’s ad:

demonstrates that he can’t answer the basic charge leveled against him: that he betrayed the public’s trust when he went AWOL from the Iraq Study Group to take on high-fee speaking engagements.”

MoveOn.org’s attack ad on Guiliani:

Here’s the MoveOn.org that ran in The New York Times and incensed many politicians who felt that ad was over the top and offensive:
