An apology from rapper Foxy Brown to a criminal courts judge moments before her sentence was just too little too late.

“I’m not going to give you any more chances,” Judge Melissa Jackson told Brown. “I hope you turn your life around and never again have to stand in a court of law.”

And just like that, Brown is headed to the pokey.

Brown, whose real name is Inga Marchand, was sentenced to one year is jail for essentially violating her parole and…well… being a bad ass.

It all began back in February, after Brown fought two manicurists in a New York City salon. She was placed on probation, but spent the following months wildin’ out.

Brown had left the state without permission, moving her residence from Brooklyn, NY to Mahwah, N.J. That along with a slew of other offenses including being arrested in New Jersey (see story here) after police pulled her over for a traffic violation; her driving license was suspended along with the car’s registration.  

Maybe a time out will do Foxy some good.
