      One Big Happy Family?

Maybe it was all a publicity stunt.

Rappers 5o Cent and Kanye West seem to have put their differences aside Wednesday night as they took the stage for the Screamfest ’07 tour at Madison Square Garden to a crowd on 20,000.

Rapper T.I. and Ciara headlined the tour, but it was the slew of rappers making guest appearances on Wednesday that stole the show. Along with 50 and Kanye, Diddy, Jay-Z, Swizz Beats, G-Unit’s Lloyd Banks, Mobb Deep, and Tony Yayo also took the stage.
At one point they all stood in front of the crowd performing and partying, 50 and Kanye embraced and hugged with Diddy.

As early as two weeks ago, 50 Cent said he’d quit rapping if West outsold him in the first week as both their upcoming albums share the same release date. This week, West told Hip-Hop magazine XXL that his biggest competition was not 50 but rather… Justin Timberlake.

”My biggest inspiration and biggest competition is Justin Timberlake. He’s the only other person that gets across-the-board response and respect level-black radio, white radio,” West said in the September issue of the magazine. “We push each other. I look at me and Justin like Prince and Michael Jackson in their day.”

I wonder what JT has to say about this.
