Booty Booty Booty Booty Booty everywhere!

It’s a slow news day at the offices of RAGAMG, so I have taken it upon myself to review the latest music videos creepin’ on to the music scene. Imagine my surprise when I came a cross two new ones from Will.I.am of the Black Eyed Peas, and a debut video from Chandra “Deelishis” Davis, winner of Vh1’s Flava of Love season two. These videos are booteeful, er… not to be mistaken with beautiful.

Let us review the more awful of the two. Davis’s “Rumpshaker” leaves little to the imagination. And you guessed it, it’s all about her shackin’ that derrière. Though it’s ample, it can’t make up for this weak song and lame dance moves. I’ve seen G-Unit videos with more class. This girl is just shacking her ass in the camera for three minutes, LITERALLY. Does she not realize the world’s most booteeful behinds have already done what she’s doing and not look so trashy?   

 What’s even worse, other than the fact she can’t sing, she has equally awful backup dancers shackin’ their cellulite in the camera too. Hopefully, someone will buy her upcoming album “Simply,Deelishis” because she has a daughter to feed. Maybe Ms. Deelishis, who is supposedly dating rapper Busta Ryhmes, should try not shacking what her mama gave her and show off some real talent. 

 Speaking of Mamas, video snippets of “I Got It From My Mama,” by Will.I.Am have leaked online and this video is also looking whack. The clip is for the lead single off of his upcoming “Songs About Girls” album due out in September. And for a man who once was a conscious MC, this is a big disappointment. Here’s the gist of the video: he’s on the beach and, you guessed it again!, girls are shacking their assess around him. That’s pretty much all that’s happening.

 Oh Will.I.Am was becoming commercially successful worth the price of your soul? What a sad sad state urban music is in.
