Actress Lindsey Lohan was briefly detained by police Thursday after turning herself in on charges stemming from a May car crash.
Just a week after leaving a rehab facility in Malibu, Calif (see story here), Lohan turned herself in to the Beverly Hill Police Department to be fingerprinted and photographed. According to reports, her alcohol level at the time of the crash was above California’s legal limit of .08 percent. She had crashed her 2005 Mercedes SL-65 convertible into the curb along Sunset Boulevard on May 26.
Lohan was in custody for about an hour before being releasing on $30,000 bail according to the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department website.
