The London Mirror is reporting that Madonna demanded that any journalists seeking an interview with her backstage during her Live Earth performance should maintain eye contact with her or the interview will be cancelled.

 Reps for the Live Earth concert over the weekend were told about the demands by Madonna’s people. Reportedly telling them to alert journalists to remember all their questions and to never lower their eyes “or the interview will be terminated.”  

Sources said they thought the demand was a joke, but were notified of even more demands including off-limit topics: Madge’s marriage to Guy Richie, her adoption of a Malawian baby boy, and her religion, Kabbalah. 

Back stateside, reps for Madonna told MSNBC that she knew nothing about the demands.
